Bar Plus Cocktails at Essex Pride 2026

Bar Plus has signed an agreement with Essex Pride for a Cocktail Bar Provision art Essex Pride's Festival in the park 2026. The importance of this arrangement cannot be overstated in terms of Bar Plus growing in popularity and changing public perceptions of what we are about. Yes, we are Chelmsford's safe space venue - but that does not tell the whole story. Our aim to to include the whole community of Chelmsford.  By creating a safe space for all, regardless of sexuality, gender identity, and all other minority sections of society. We believe that everyone deserves a safe space venue. And that includes our straight brothers and sisters. No one gets left behind. No one gets preferential treatment because everyone who enters Bar Plus is treated like a VIP. There is no need to be concerned that you might be encroaching. We welcome you and offer you our hand of friendship. In a world where nations, and communities are veering towards the far right and believing the rhetoric of taking away rights from those who are different; bolting the doors and making others feel unwelcome; of creating elitism where phobia, racism, sexism thrive and alter public opinion, we stand proud and say that we are all human. We are not going to be like them. We celebrate diversity and inclusivity. This is nothing new, British values are built upon the sense of fair play and giving everyone a chance to survive securely. Our message will shine through while we mix cocktails and show the good people of Chelmsford that what we are doing is the pride of the whole of Chelmsford community.
